Theories of Learning and Teaching

I had a hard time with this article because it was very hard to pick only one learning theory. As an upcoming teacher, I think it is very essential to take every theory into consideration because each theory has a set of skills for students to gain and we have so many different types of learners. It helps the teacher be more creative with the lesson planning and it provides more methods for teachers to use in class. However, if I had to pick one it would be the view of learning under Cognitive Constructivism. I picked this one because I believe assimilating and accommodating information is the root key to learning. Students learn by applying new information to background knowledge.
